The US has gone through a lot of big events in its lifetime. A lot of these events have had big impacts on our country as a whole and made us come together as one and try to help each other. Every thing we have gone through has gone on record thanks to the news. They have been motorhome insurance there for the little things and the big things. They have shown us all what was happening in other places in the country where we were not. It helps inform us on the troubles that others may have been going through campervan insurance at a certain time in their lives. It has shown us when nature takes its toll and throws her wildest forces at us such as hurricanes and tornadoes. All of this has been filmed and shown on the television for everyone in the world to see. Helping keep us informed on what other people of this country are going through to. This article is about the top US news stories of the 21st Century. The 21st Century has seen many things packed into such a short period of home emergency cover time. It is sad to revisit some of those moments but we must revisit these moments to learn a thing or too that may help us in the future of this country. There were many large events in the 21st Century that we are going to revisit right now. Also on the same day 1 of 3 American hikers who were captured by Iranians who was set to be released after a year was cancelled. The innocent American hiker has been in an Iran prison for more than a year. Her name is Sarah Shourd. She was scheduled to be released but Iranian official say a Judicial process has not been completed enabling them from releasing her. Officials of the Iranian government are saying that her release has only been postponed and not canceled completely. When asked he says more details will be given later. Also on September 11 a small US church is saying that they will defy federal laws and burn the Islamic holy book the Koran as a memorial for the victims of 9/11. The Church is called Dove Reach Outreach, a small church in Florida. US commanders in Afghanistan warn that US troops lives will be in danger if this small church decides to go ahead and burn their holy book. Still leaders of the church claim they are going to send the radical Islamist’s a clear message. The Secretary of State Hilary Clinton also set up a peace meeting between the Israelite’s and Palestinian’s. It is the first one to be held in many years. Soon the Israel prime minister decided to have direct talks with no preconditions or terms that are already set. The Palestinian committee also said they would participate in the peace meeting with no conditions set before. Although their spokesman was claiming there would be no negotiations at all. Also it was found out that a whistler for the army has been posting US Army document online. He has posted over 90,000 documents filed between January 2004 and July 2010. He posted things like how many civilians were killed, how many soldiers died, damage that was done, and threat reports. All information straight from the army’s documents. When asked the soldier declined to tell news reporters where he had gotten the documents or how. He claims that the documents show how many little incidents that happen lead to a large number of soldiers or people dead. Also in the gulf of Mexico an oil leak has broken out. It is claimed to be the worst US environmental disaster. The government has tried many ways to cover the leak but so far none have been successful. There has been at least 20,000 gallons of raw oil that has spilled into the Gulf of Mexico and affected more than 70 miles of ocean. A suspected Russian spy was arrested on June 29, 2010. He was suspected to be part of an alleged Russian spy ring in the Us. He was arrested in Larnaca Airport in Cyrus, Washington. He was red noted for being suspected of money laundering and espionage. He has been freed on bail for 24,000 dollars but is not allowed to leave the country. According to court documents the suspect received money from a Russian agent and buried it in a park in northern Virginia. Later two more suspects came and dug up the money and took it for themselves. The government announced that 10 people have been arrested for being part of a suspected Russian spy ring. Also many marines held memorial at each spot where planes crashed on 9/11. Earlier before the leader of the church who claimed to burn the Koran announced that they were not going to do this after all. Later that day people started to protest angrily against the building of an Islamic building near ground zero. While speaking Obama claimed that this was their time to remember the fullness of their time on earth. There have been many big events in the 21st century that have taken a toll on the US people. It has hurt us and at the same time it has brought us together as one. It has made us realize we can come together and work together to make a difference and help everyone out to enjoy the time we have on this earth and be safe knowing that.
